We are a small team of volunteer helpers which was founded in 2014. The Team helps refugees in Rheinbach to deal with daily issues and to get integrated to German life.

Nächstes FHKR-Treffen findet am Mittwoch, dem 06.06.18 um 18 Uhr im “GästeZimmer” im Sankt Joseph Gymnasium, Lurheck 6 (Mädchengymnasium) statt.
Last weekend the concert of the year by Fidelia Wormersdorf took place in the Rheinbach city theatre. Ten refugees were able to attend this event as they got some free tickets. “I love music” was mentioned by them and surprisingly they knew almost all songs performed by the Fidelia orchestra. It was a great experience for all.
Starting on the 12th of November a new course has started for Rheinbach refugees. Severals chirldren and adults are learning the basics of swimming in the Monte Mare of Rheinbach.
The courses are financed by the Kreissportbund Rhein-Sieg e.V., the Refugee Helpergroup and the Monte Mare.
This is another step of integration in our society. All starters had much fun. They are glad to learn swimmung by now.
Sunday cafè and meeting for young men has a new concept names Encounter Cafè m which is established for young and old, single or family living in Rheinbach since years or since a short tim eonly. Everyone is welcome ! Take a look at Sunday 26th of June between 3:30 and 5:00pm.
Additional appointments on Saturday between 3:00 and 7:00pm: 2nd, 16th and 30th of June and at 13th and 27th of August 2016.
Get an overview about Rheinbach surroundings and learn about important traffic signs within a short trip through the streets of Rheinbach City.
Meeting point: Friday 17th of June, 15th of July, 19th of August and 16th of September 2016 at 3pm at social centre at Keramikerstreet in Rheinbach.
The “International Cooking Course for Women” is going to start on April 21, 2016 from 6pm – 9pm at the Haupt- and Gesamtschule (secondary school), Dederichsgraben 2. Up to 15 women can participate. Please submit your application on Monday, April 18, 2016, at the Café International.
An information event to show options for studying in Germany started on 7th of March together with High School Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and Refugee Helper Group Rheinbach.

The event was processed in English incl. translation to Arabic.
Happy helper team: We have a new warehouse for clothes and other essential goods to help refugees. You can find the warehouse in the former named Netto, which can be found directly at the opposite side of the LIVE in the Bachstraße!
Every Monday from 11:00am till 1:00pm and on Wednesday from 2:00pm till 5:00pm refugees can obtain clothes and other essential goods.
Every first Saturday a month from 10 till 12 people can bring their donations to the warehouse.
Today, at the 11th of February 2016, a new international choir was founded in Rheinbach. Always on Thursday at 8pm we want to sing in the LIVE, Bachstraße 2. Singing combines our cultures. Everybody is welcome to sing with us.

Mid of January several refugees handed out roses to Rheinbach residents. They bought 500 roses to say thanks for all the help.
